On the afternoon of July 25, the results presentation session of the Fifth International Organization Talent Training Summer Camp at Nanjing University was held in the Zeng Xianzi Building on Gulou Campus. Lu Xiancai, Vice President of NJU, attended the event and delivered a speech. He Yong, Director of UN China Study Programme, along with 14 representatives of UN officials, participated in the event.

Lu Xiancai expressed sincere gratitude to the UN officials who taught at the training camp and presented to them letters of appreciation. He introduced NJU's work in cultivating and supplying talents for global governance. He pointed out that NJU, as an institution of higher education with a 123-year history, has always been committed to cultivating outstanding talents with global vision, innovative abilities, and social responsibility.
He Yong congratulated the successful implementation of this activity and expressed sincere gratitude to the UN officials for their generous teaching over the past few days. He stated that it is young people's deep thinking about international issues that builds bridges for communication, making dialogue across language, culture, and generations possible.
UN official representative Mr. Valter PODGORNIK appreciated the richness of the presentation content and the students' fluent English expression, and was pleased that this activity provided a platform for young people and officials to exchange views on various issues. He hoped that everyone would make the most of this opportunity and looked forward to more young people joining the work of the United Nations.
The event was hosted by Zhu Hanmo, Director of the Student Employment Guidance Center, with more than 40 participating students in attendance. This training camp, based on 19th UN China Study Programme, invited 18 UN officials to conduct lectures for students over four days, covering topics including UN operational mechanisms, personnel standards, recruitment processes, and the officials' own career development experiences. It has provided the students with deeper understanding of the actual operational mechanisms and daily functional activities of international organizations, as well as clearer knowledge of the talent selection standards and career development paths within the UN system. Students expressed aspirations to pursue careers in such institutions and dedicate themselves to spreading Chinese voices in the future.

The International Organization Talent Training Summer Camp is a global field research and scientific training program for Nanjing University undergraduates, consisting of thematic lectures on international organization talent training and Chinese-foreign cultural exchange activities. It provides NJU students with opportunities for in-depth exchanges with officials from international organizations, aiming to help them broaden their international horizons, enhance global competence, and lay a solid foundation for participating in international organization work, telling China's story well, and pursuing dreams on the international stage. This project has been successfully held for five sessions. This training camp began on July 21 and will last for 3 weeks. After the thematic lectures conclude, UN officials will form language partnerships with NJU students and continue in-depth exchanges focusing on Chinese language tutoring and cultural experiences.
