On August 21, the joint preparatory meeting for the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition between the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and Nanjing University was held on NJU Xianlin Campus. Chen Yunsong, Vice Chair of NJU CPC Council, and Li Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Chen Yunsong expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of NJU for the comprehensive support and strong guidance provided by the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League for the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition. He emphasized that NJU will further elevate its political position, thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Jiangsu's work, and take the competition preparation as an important task to be implemented effectively, fully showcasing Jiangsu's characteristics and NJU's capacities in the overall planning and organization. He required all special groups to fully align with and carefully study the relevant work plans and procedural standards of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, further strengthen coordination with provincial and municipal levels in the next stage of work, enhance mobilization and deployment, accelerate work progress, and ensure that all plans are implemented to high standards and achieve high-quality results.

Li Xiaoming highly commended the work done by NJU in the early preparation of the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition. He pointed out that hosting the "Challenge Cup" Competition in Jiangsu and at NJU is a display of the youth work by our province's Communist Youth League. The Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League will closely coordinate with the Nanjing Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League and further deepen coordination with NJUy, refine work connections, and thoroughly advance the "second half" of the competition, solidly carrying out project implementation and talent recruitment work. At the same time, they will meticulously arrange competition services, fully ensure the experience of participating teachers and students during their stay in Nanjing, and strive to present Jiangsu's characteristics, Nanjing's features, and NJU's image to all sectors of society in a comprehensive and multi-dimensional manner through the "Challenge Cup" Competition.

The meeting discussed key tasks and specific arrangements for the next stage of the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition. Responsible officials from the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League, Nanjing Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League, and relevant departments of NJU attended the meeting.
